We all love to treat that someone special and Valentine’s Day is a perfect excuse (not that we need an excuse). A treat should be something they wouldn’t do for themselves, something special and a little different.
Reflexology fits that bill perfectly. Taking time out for themselves probably isn’t something your other half often does for themselves, but we all know how important self care and time out really is.
So why not show your loved one just how important their wellbeing is to you by treating them to reflexology. This holistic treatment allows them to relax and unwind which will help to bring balance to their body and mind too. You can find out more about reflexology here.
And to make it extra special I have the perfect experience for you:
Order a gift voucher for a reflexology session and I will send the voucher along with a limited edition aromatherapy spray. Made with the highest quality ingredients, this spray contains a blend of essential oils which will create a sense of peaceful calm and relaxation, with sensuous undertones. Use as a room or pillow spray then light candles, sprinkle rose petals and put on your favourite tunes for that perfect romantic evening.
You can purchase the Valentine’s Day offer for £50. (The offer includes gift voucher for one hour reflexology treatment and the limited edition pillow spray).
Order the Valentine’s Day gift voucher and spray by filling in the form below.
I know it’s only September, but some of you like to get organised with our Christmas presents. I love to see the different offerings come out at the time of year as I start to plan what I will purchase for those I love.
Neal’s Yard Remedies have launched a range that just makes me feel warm and loving and I hope you will love it too. It’s quite different to previous years and is a much more practical range – with that gorgeous hint of blue luxury!
NYR have listened when customers say they want the smaller gift sets and have seen how much you have all enjoyed the ‘collections’ throughout the year with great savings on favourite products. This year they share our ‘pick of the best’ for you to give to your friends, family or of course, stock up for yourself. I already have my eye on the Dry Skin Dream Team as I use those three products, particularly over the winter months.
If you would like to start your own preparations or just want a sneak peak then click the link here for the gift sets or here for the ‘pick of the best’. You can order through the website or by contacting me directly.
I realise that I am obsessed by Neal’s Yard Remedies and know exactly what all these items are in the ‘pick of the best’ list. So if you have any questions or would like some help finding the right Christmas present (or birthday/thank you teacher/get well soon/just because presents) then please do get in touch with me. I’m more than happy to chat on the phone, on zoom or in person to find out about the person from you so that we can pick the right gift.
This is the inside of each of the gorgeous gift boxes. I love these beautiful images.
My contact details are all on this page or you can just drop me an email anne@medulla.space
Many of us don’t want to visit the high streets or retail parks for our Christmas shopping this year. Even if you wear your mask, use sanitiser and keep the recommended 2m distance, it’s really not going to feel the same is it?
I know many of you are still only going out for essentials only and with so much available online why would you do otherwise, this year in particular?
It’s also becoming more apparent that you want to be more thoughtful in the presents you give. You don’t want gifts sets with lots of single-use plastic packaging. And you do want to consider the impact on the environment, something more natural, more connected to the earth even. If these things are important to you, why don’t you consider joining my Facebook group?
Well if you know me, you know where I’m going with this – the Neal’s Yard Remedies Christmas gift range is stunning this year! I have been so excited by it in so many ways. It’s beautiful, nature-loving and thought-provoking design, the re-usable ‘plant pot’ packaging and the variety of the range.
As always the products are completely natural and never tested on animals. They are predominantly plant-based, a few have honey or beeswax in (do talk to me if you’re looking for vegan products). They also use essential oils not just for the gorgeous fragrance but also for their amazing healing properties.
Below you’ll see the video I made to help you with your Christmas shopping as I show you around the brochure. But we all know sometimes the sets don’t fit the people we want to buy for so I also showed a few bespoke gift sets I could make up for you.
But I’d also like to highlight a few of my favourites…..
MEDITATE Aromatherapy Duo I use this aromatherapy blend when I run my meditation group on a Thursday evening. It’s gorgeous smell – frankincense, orange, cedarwood, vetiver – happy, relaxed and focused. Perfect!

Many of you recognise the benefits of coming regularly for Reiki or reflexology treatments, but how do you fancy just paying less for your treatment?
All I ask in return is that you ‘refer a friend’ ie recommend me to someone you know. When you enjoy something as much as your relaxing treatment, it seems a kindness to share it with your friends. And how about family or colleagues, parents from the school gate or a friend on Facebook. Don’t worry if your friends aren’t local, Distance Reiki can be done wherever they live – I am currently working effectively with people who live 80 miles from where I am. Find out more about Distance Reiki here.
We all come into contact with people who are stressed or need some time out, so please let them know how your Reiki or reflexology session helps you. These last few years have been difficult for all of us in one way, shape or form. They have brought out emotions in us that we didn’t expect and have challenged our coping mechanisms. This in turn has upset our usual balance and equilibrium and made us look at things differently. This is of course, not always a bad thing but it takes a little getting used to and sometimes we need some support. The treatments I offer not only relax the body, but can also ease the mind and soothe the emotions.
Why have one favourite product when you can have a whole range!
Last month was World Bee Day and there is so much in the news and on social media about saving the bees that I just had to give the whole Bee Lovely range a shout out. Not only that this range is divine and I regularly have at least two items from it on the go at home. As you can see from the photo those currently in use are the hand wash and the all over balm.
The whole range smells of honey and orange but not in an over-powering sickly way, more of a fresh happy way. And for every products sold from the range Neal’s Yard give 3% to bee friendly charities, raising £120,000 to date. They always have done and as far as I’m aware they always will do, so passionate are they about ecology in general and saving the bees. Have a look at their bee saving campaign here.
Happy
I love using the shower gel first thing in the morning, the orange essential oil makes me smile and really sets me up for a happy start to the day. Having done a Facebook live in my group (Medulla Holistic Living) about various moisturising products, I re-discovered the All Over Balm. I use it mainly as face mask but it is quite heavy and I do find I need a facewash to remove it – though it feels amazing afterwards. But I also like it as a heel balm particularly at this time of year when we’re in flip flops and sandals. As I say it’s quite oily so pop it on with some old socks and head for bed or pop your feet up for half an hour.
Packaging
Neal’s Yard promote the Bee Lovely range as our family friend range because of the happy fragrance and yellow packaging. The essential oils will brighten up children and are perfectly safe for them.
Because it is safe for children most of the packaging is plastic, we don’t want the wee ones dropping the glass bottle of handwash! And all our shower gels come in plastic bottles for the same reason, we don’t want them slipping and breaking in the bottom of the shower. However, and it’s a big however; ALL the plastic that Neal’s Yard use is already recycled and if you live close enough to a store then you can return all your empties to be further recycled. If you live locally to me then you can return all your empties to me directly and I am finding lots of ways to use them.
If you are on social media do give us a shout out using #savethebees and if you purchase something from the range pop up a photo too please. Don’t forget you can find me mainly on Facebook and Instagram but also on Twitter and Linked In all using the same handle @medullaspace – come and say Hi!
